Nestled among shady gums and wide open space, our beautifully restored settlers cottage is available as a cosy stay for two. Whether you're after a romantic weekend away or a peaceful country escape, this special place invites you to slow down and breathe deep.

Our Cottage's History
Discover the rich history of Millers Cottage ... where rustic charm meets modern comfort!
What began with milking cows has grown into something truly special.
In 2010, we relocated and lovingly restored this settler’s cottage from a neighbouring farm. It became our café - a place to serve handcrafted ice cream made using milk from our own herd. It was our way of adding value to the farm and sharing a little taste of what we do with the community.
In 2020, we made the tough decision to step away from dairy farming - a big change, but the right one for our family. We continued producing our ice cream using locally sourced milk.
Then, in 2025, we closed the doors to our on-farm café and opened a new chapter ... Millers Little Ice Cream Shop on Bussell Highway in the heart of Cowaramup.
Now, this beautiful cottage that started it all has been lovingly restored once again - ready to begin its next chapter as a peaceful, cosy farm stay, here in the middle of the beautiful Margaret River region.
Cosy Cottage
Welcome to our cozy open-plan cottage, where comfort meets charm. Enjoy a peaceful reading nook perfect for unwinding, alongside a delightful dining area for shared meals. Retreat to the inviting king-size bed, ensuring a restful night's sleep in this serene getaway. Experience the perfect blend of relaxation and homely warmth at our cottage.
Cooking
Whip up a delicious meal in the kitchen, decked out with a hot plate, combination oven, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. More importantly, a pod machine or teapot for those slow mornings. Weather too nice to be indoors, we've got you covered with a Weber Baby Q and utensils for outdoor cooking.
Lounge & TV area.
Relax in our cozy lounge, designed for year-round comfort and entertainment. Enjoy the smart TV and DVD player with a curated collection of classic DVDs ... a little walk down memory lane! The reverse cycle air conditioning and heating keep the space perfectly comfortable in every season.
Beautiful Views
Experience the beauty of our lush trees and well-maintained lawn area, for a peaceful retreat. Take a short bushwalk to immerse yourself in nature, and unwind on the inviting verandah, where you can sit back and enjoy the serene surroundings. Your perfect escape awaits!
